US Senate approves extension of jobless benefits; Bunning concludes blockade

The senators of US assembly have approved, on Tuesday night, a bill while maximizing the unemployment benefits and many other federal programs. The bill was signed after Sen Jim Bunning dropped his days-long blockade of the bill.
Bunning argued that the measures were not paid for. He had kept the Senate's attention regarding the package of 30-day extensions since Thursday. It was only Bunning who stood firm until reaching agreement on a pact.
Bunning will also avail the chance to offer amendments on the next Senate jobs bill, a $150 billion measure scheduled up for consideration by the Senate in this week.
