Manchester United Grabs League Cup
Wayne Rooney contributed his 28th goal of the club season and made it possible for his team to win League Cup defeating Aston Villa on Sunday. The Manchester United won this game with a 2-1 victory.
Rooney kicked in the final moments to Brad Friedel of the United States in the 74th minute to settle the first meeting of clubs with American owners in an English final. It was the 50th League Cup final.
